SunScreens v.01 SunScreens v.02

SunScreens v.01

The first Sun Screens exhibition featured works created by the students of the Monarch School, along with work created by other young San Diegans who participated in digital media workshops over the summer of 2002.

Monarch’s Multimedia Arts workshop was conducted by Heads On Fire as a part of our community-based media and technology education programs.

The work of the other invited artists was produced through the programs of the Teen Producers Project directed by Media Arts Center San Diego and The Voices Project, an after-school media-arts program for southeast San Diego youth organized by Art Now.  Sun Screens v.01 was organized by Heads On Fire in partnership with IMANI,  inSITE,  the Monarch School and the Combined Organizations for the Visual Arts (COVA).
