The Heads on Fire Community

Today we have begun to work on our electronic projects. I am using a t-shirt to place my soft circuit board on. I am going to laser a picture of Tigger onto my t-shirt. Then, I am going to use the electronics kit to place the lights onto my t-shirt. The picture is of Tigger and a butterfly. I want to put the lights in the butterfly and place the switch on the bottom-right hand corner of my t-shirt. My shirt is purple and I am going to color tigger and the butterfly to make it more colorful and exciting. I was going to just laser the picture onto the shirt, but I found out that the engraving comes off with water. Therefore, I would not be able to wash or get water on it. So that was not an option anymore. I decided that I am going to engrave the picture on the shirt and then color it in so that it stays and has some color. My other option was to cut the picture out using the vinyl cutter and then position it onto my t-shirt. But I figured that it was only a matter of time before the sticker started to peel off of the t-shirt. I don't want to have to make another copy of the picture so I decided to go with something more permanent. I think that it will turn out nicely. :-)
