I decided to find out how accurate I could get the laser cutter... SO I took a bunny outline, and cut it out on mirrored acrylic. The problem when you are working within such a small area though, is that the heat from the laser has no where to spread to, so it all stays together, and scorches or melts the bunny. My way of fixing that was to lower the laser power... A lot... Problem now, is that if it moves to fast, it won't cut, so I moved to laser Speed down too, a lot. We ended up using 2 for the speed, and 6 for the power! This still charred the acrylic a little, so I had to do more. I decided to wet down the acrylic with a wet paper towel. I just got it wet, and then rubbed it where it would be cutting, leaving some water behind to help cool the area.
Final results:
Speed - 2
Power - 6
Frequency - 5000
Bunny Sizes:
1/8" - .125 wide
1/16" - .0625 wide
