Today we identified what the components for the sensor do to make the machine work. I learned that AC stands for Alternating Current and DC stands for Direct Current. Direct current is less efficient to transmit. A resistor resists energy flow. A capacitor stores energy. Inductors resist changes in voltage. Transistors work as amplifier by controlling the flow of electricity.
