In the Vizlab at SDSU i have been working on making a light weight, more efficient, portable and durable ground station for UAVs which are unmanned areal vehicles. An unmanned areal vehical is like a small airplane that will fly over areas and take pictures and or videos of whats below. Making the cases will make it be easier to carry the equipment needed to operate the UAVs. I measured all of the different components and I have a good idea where i want to rearrange them, so at the moment my goal is to figure out what kind of hard ware to use to secure the components. It is tricky to figure out what to use because it has to be something that can be secure but can also be easily taken out. Velcro was my original idea but the problem was that slowly, after time it would become weak and then they wouldn't be as secure so my current idea is that it would be best to use snaps because they won't get weaker, but they are both useful to keep things where they should be and also easily removed.
