Yesterday August 25th
Yesterday, we spent all day sanding the wood for Jake's sculpture. The diffence in my clothing from the beginning of the day to the end was REMARKABLE. My pants no longer looked black. They appeared to be sort of gray/ grayish (haha). However, we accomplished alot of sanding (even though we still have more to sand). I feel that this project will turn out very well because everyone is helping to make these sculptures a success. I am sure that we will all be very proud and relieved when these projects are completed and placed in the community. My team still has to print out our sculpture on the ShopBot. We will then have to sand those pieces also. Our pieces might be a little larger than Jake's but I think that they will be easier to sand because we don't have as many pieces. When we have our pieces we can fit them together like a puzzle and take a picture of them. I am anxious to see the finished projects. I just hope that in the process my pants don't look like they did yesterday (haha).
