Many people have wondered how great ideas are formulated. In order to understand where ideas come from you don't need to look further then the oldest master that there is, nature. Scientist having been working on trying to develop solutions through biomimicry.

Biomimicry is the conscious emulation of life's genius. It's taking the genius of the natural world and taking something from it. Scientist are working on trying to implement self assembly, power of shape, sensing and responding to improve their work. Through self assembly scientists will be able to construct parts that can self construct under immense stress just like a pearl. Through studying the fins of whales scientist have realized that the edge of airplanes wings could be manipulated to produce a faster more efficient mode of transportation. Example. The great news about biomimicry is that it helps the environment flourish.

Biomimicry is great for the environment because we are copying how nature creates amazing feats. We are learning from nature not the other way around. The amount of design involved in nature I feel far outweighs the physical development we have created. We simply cannot compete with nature or like some have been doing, lean away from it. What I found amazing is that spiders produce silk that is tougher than steel and Kevlar. With this said we can then be able to produce armor that is almost impenetrable. In the future I hope that I could build cologne that uses pheromones like some bug species so that I could garner a lot of attention.

Biomimicry is our future and we must embrace it. Biomicry is modeling after natures success.
