The Heads on Fire Community

Well, we've hit yet another snag on our path to finishing the Fab @ Home model. We're missing a few 2-56 1/16H hex nuts as well as a HSI external nut for the Z motor. Here are a few pictures of what we have finished thus far.

Above is a picture of the Syringe Tool. This will be placed on the finished XY Carriage, pictured below.

Which, in turn, will be attached to the base, picured below.

We still have yet to begin on the Z Carriage, seeing as how we're missing the HSI external nut for the Z motor. Here is a link to the website instructions detailing assembly of the Z carriage. The syringe tool has, by far, been the easiest of the components to assemble, unlike the XY carriage, which has proven to be very time consuming on the whole. I'm personally hoping that this will be done in the next three to four weeks.
