Many people have wondered how great ideas are formulated. In order to understand where ideas come from you don't need to look further then the oldest master that there is, nature. Scientist having been working on trying to develop solutions through biomimicry.

Today at fab lab we are to present our cell phone holder project to Pam a parapalegic woman. Pam has multiple scoliosis which is a disease according to the medical journal is that your immune systems attack your nervous system which means your fighting with yourself instead of an outside invader such as viruses and bacteria. Our project started out from scratch only working with the measurments we took.
In my experience at the fab lab. I learned alot of skills even if I haven't mastered the skills. I had never done anything with machinery in my life before. Every software and equipment was new to me. I felt like I was in different world. The one important thing I felt that I learned would be that I attained work experience. Being in highschool you really aren't exposed to much hands on work. In the future I will probally get more internship postitions in jobs that deal with electronics so that I can learn more about electronics.
Diodes are I believe to be one of most simple components on electrical circuit, A diode is like a one way road cars can go in one direction only, but cant go to the opposite direction. A "Do Not Enter" sign serves as barrier for them.
Diodes in more techincal sense is two terminal device. Diodes redicrect current from postive terminal to negative and cureent can't flow in opposite direction. Diodes are useful in a circuit because diodes amplify current within a circuit.
Me and my partner Jake worked on milling machine. We tried to come up with a tutioral for people to be able to easily acess. The goal was to be able to give information to other people in different fab lab's around the world so they can use our information to get started on there project.

Today was my first time in a long time having been on a hike; Mission trails is one of San Diego's most monumental area's. The park ranger told us that the park was 10 square miles or close to that figure. I was also suprised to learn that mission trails is home to some pretty exotic organism's. And I also learned of challenges that face the park like people who let there dogs and cats out of there back yard and they venture out into the park and cause significant threat to some of endangered animals in park.
