The direction of the research:

Participants should first look at the "Genocide in West Papua?" report from the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Sydney, which outlines the most important aspects of the conflict.

We would like participants to come to an understanding of the issues in Irian Jaya:

- A general look at how conflict in the area has been progressing, focusing preferably within the last 10-15 years.
- Political involvement and military actions on part of the Indonesian government

3 - A new page will open up and you will be asked to input a user name and your e-mail address. Click on the button "Create new account"

4 - We will be notified via e-mail and we will accept you as a collaborator

We will be reviewing articles and documents as they come in and give feedback where it is appropriate. We are hoping that participants collaborate in this effort and discuss with each other the findings that are posted. It is important to establish this communication in order to acquire the best possible results.
